He grew up in a family wholesale food business for over 20
years, working every aspect from wholesale/retail to catering. In 1994, he separated himself from the family business to pursue his own dreams in the food industry. He owned and operated his own business for several years. In 2000, he was hospitalized with pneumonia and discovered that he had Type 2 Diabetes. This is where his journey to find/create delicious, healthy, diabetic friendly meals began. In 2011, he suffered a stroke and not long after, he was hospitalized again for pneumonia. At this time, he was told that he was in Stage 2 CKD. This is when Dr. Banerjee stepped in. She became his primary nephrologist, guiding him through his diagnosis. In 2014, he was blessed to receive a living donor kidney transplant. His focus on meal planning now included finding/creating delicious, diabetic and renal friendly meals that he could enjoy. When Dr. Banerjee approached him with her desire to create pre-made, diet-restricted meals for people like him, he gladly said yes. Preparing great food for people to enjoy has always been his passion.
Now that he can combine that with helping others like himself, it’s truly something special.

She has been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years and a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician for almost as long. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at University of Delaware and her dietetic internship through Sodexho-Marriott. Most of her career has been spent in acute care, specializing in critical care and nutrition support. However, a good portion of her time was also spent educating patients and families on recognized diets and nutrition (whether through natural food or alternate means). She is excited to shift to a closer connection with her clients to better offer support in the outpatient setting.
